Built for people who write grant applications
Eligibility first
Results are filtered to opportunities that list your applicant type, are open to anyone, or mention your type in the eligibility text, and each result says which.
The numbers that matter
Deadline and days left, award ceiling and floor, total program funding, expected number of awards, and whether cost sharing is required.
Straight to the source
Every result links to its official Grants.gov listing and the full announcement. Add deadlines to your calendar or export results to a spreadsheet.
What it covers, and what it doesn't
- Covers: federal grant and cooperative agreement opportunities that are posted (open) or forecasted on Grants.gov, refreshed from the Grants.gov API every hour.
- Doesn't cover: most state and local grants, private foundation or corporate grants, loans, contracts, or opportunities that closed. It doesn't decide whether you qualify, write applications, or submit them.
- Watch for scams: applying for a federal grant is free. Anyone who charges a fee to "guarantee" a grant, or says you've won one you didn't apply for, is likely a scammer (FTC guidance).

Questions
Where does the data come from?
From the Grants.gov API, run by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We copy the list of posted and forecasted opportunities every hour and each opportunity's details at least weekly, or sooner when it changes. Always confirm details in the official listing and announcement before you apply.
Does a match mean I'm eligible?
No. A match means the opportunity lists your applicant type, is listed as unrestricted, or mentions your type in its eligibility text. Each announcement has more rules (location, registration in SAM.gov, matching funds and more). Read the full announcement.
Can individuals or small businesses get federal grants?
Individuals rarely can; most federal grants go to organizations. Small businesses are eligible for some, often research programs such as SBIR and STTR. Select your applicant type and the results will show what's actually listed. More on who can apply.
Is it free?
Yes. Searching is free, with a daily fair-use limit. Deadline alerts are in early access and free to join.
Why are some results "forecasted"?
Agencies sometimes announce grants before they open. Forecasted dates are estimates and can change; you can't apply until the opportunity is posted.
